Morning Glory

Morning Glory welcomes singers of all abilities and ages. With a 24-voice choir, they have room to grow and are always recruiting! Morning Glory sings a variety of music ranging from renaissance and classical to contemporary and gospel. While voice building and musicality are primary focuses of the choir, it is not to the exclusion of community-building through their spirituality. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings, 7:15-9:15pm and before Sunday services. If you are an early riser or want to make sure you never miss a kickoff, think about joining Morning Glory Choir and singing at the 8:00am service on Sunday mornings.

Chancel Choir

Experience the joy of singing with us, from Mozart to Copland, African to American tunes, in church services, in special concerts, and on international tours. Join the camaraderie of an exceptional group of singers. The choir enjoys an award-winning director, Shulamit Hoffmann. Come to rehearsals (no auditions necessary) on Thursday evenings from 7:15 to 9:15pm in the Choir Room. Chancel Choir alternates each month between the Sunday 9:30am service and the 11:15am service.

LAUMC is a very musical church! We organize and host many concerts and performances throughout the year featuring classical music, modern music, African music, Celtic music, original musical theater productions by our youth choirs, holiday musical performances by all ages, instrumental concerts, and so much more.
