Small groups are a part of the spiritual life and the community life at LAUMC. This is a developing ministry with oversight by Pastor Debbie, Patricia Parfett, the Spiritual Life Team, and the Community Life Team. In the church's history, many small groups have developed. Some that started decades ago are still meeting, others are new groups, and new ones are starting all the time. If you are a part of a small group that is not listed here, please be in touch with Patricia. We plan to list information (contacts, meeting times and locations) in order to facilitate small group development. We need your help as we intend to make it much easier to help people get connected, get involved, and progress in their spiritual journey!
Don't forget to check out groups specifically for:
Boomers & Beyond
Boomers & Beyond enthusiastically welcomes adults aged 50+. The goal of this group is to provide meaningful ways to share our gifts and talents, learn new things and enjoy the fellowship of others. Also, this group offers assistance to those who are not as mobile as they once were. We plan quarterly bus trips as well as matinee at the movies, art classes, seminars of interest, Sunday lunches, Summer barbeques, and more! See the News page for upcoming activities, or contact Haskell Waddle (650-969-9903) or Hal Hosfeldt (408-257-7389).
