LAUMC Children's Ministries Mission Statement
At LAUMC we are called to teach our children to know God's love for them and grow in faith through understanding Jesus Christ in a safe, loving and joyful environment.
LAUMC offers a variety of ministries and activities for children. Every Sunday at 9:30am, our preschool children hear Bible stories in Exploring Faith. Our 1st through 5th grade elementary school children are offered Faith Quest, an interactive workshop classroom experience, while our Junior High class learns to Live Big and put their faith into action. Our two children's choirs, Rainbow Choir and Sunshine Singers, meet every Sunday at 11:15am and occasionally perform in worship services and offer special concerts. LAUMC runs a popular summer Vacation Bible School for ages 3 1/2 through 6th grade. Our church campus is also home to the Children's Center, a wonderful and thriving community preschool program. LAUMC also hosts a troop from the Girl Scouts, the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts.

Leap of Faith "One Rockin' Revival" Sunday, September 12, 10:30am in the LAUMC parking lot. Nursery care will be available for infants and toddlers. If you would like your child to go to Sunday School, please check them in prior to the service. They will then attend the beginning part of worship before they head to their classes. Learn more
