Sunday School for children

Welcome to Sunday School at LAUMC!

Our Sunday School teachers are excited about sharing the stories of the Bible with your children in a stimulating environment that nurtures each child's faith development during these important growing years. Please contact me with any questions about any of our programs. I'll see you in Sunday School!

Nursery

Who is Mitiku?

Our Sunday School children are given an opportunity every Sunday to offer a small donation in class that supports Mitiku Hankebo, an 12-year-old boy who lives in Ethiopia, Africa. Mitiku has three sisters and lives at home with his mother and father. He attends both regular school and Sunday School. Mitiku's father is a farmer, and Mitiku proudly helps take care of the animals. Through World Vision, we send our Sunday School donations to Mitiku. These gifts help him obtain new clothes and school supplies. Thank you for reminding your child that supporting Mitiku every Sunday is an important way to reach out and help someone in Africa all year long!
