Welcome to Sunday School at LAUMC!
Our Sunday School teachers are excited about sharing the stories of the Bible with your children in a stimulating environment that nurtures each child's faith development during these important growing years. It is an honor to partner with you on this journey! Please contact me with any questions about any of our programs. I will see you in Sunday School!
In faith,

Children's Ministries Mission Statement:
At LAUMC we are called to teach our children to know God's love for them and grow in faith through understanding Jesus Christ in a safe, loving and joyful environment.
SUNDAY SCHOOL PROGRAMS at 9:30am
September 11 – June 10
Building a Heart of Faith Preschool–Kindergarten in the Children's Center
Join us for Bible stories, music, child-centered play, games, craft and more for the best hour of the week! All classes meet in our Children's Center building.
Faith Quest — 1st–5th Grades
Discover God through Bible lessons that are interactive, creative and fun! Each class will study a Bible concept for the month in different rotating stations in art, games, cooking, film and drama. Each class will learn a different Bible story within the monthly concept each week and will bring home an activity sheet to extend the Bible lesson at home.
Please see the campus rotation boards to confirm your child's classroom location each Sunday, or click here.
Faith in Action — 6th–8th Grades in the Youth Room
This class engages in lively Bible story discussions, and participates in regular community service and leadership opportunities in our church, community and beyond to learn to serve others through our faith in Jesus Christ.
Our littlest children up to age two are offered safe, loving care for all of our morning services in our church nursery. Care is also offered for children during our Creekside Crossings 5:00pm service in the Children's Center Room 1.
Our Sunday School offering supports the purchase of animals through Heifer International that will help children and families all around the world! Each class supports a different animal. Look for our Heifer Ark on the Sunday School bulletin board. As each animal is sent to a family, we add a special star to an animal on the Ark! (Learn more)
Our previous offerings went to support a boy named Mitiku through World Vision. World Vision is no longer servicing the area of Ethiopia where Mitiku and his family live. Our prayers go out to Mitiku and his family.
