Sue Dodson, wife of former Senior Pastor John Dodson, had a deep love for Africa. She was an artist and a photographer. After her death, one of her photographs was a finalist in "Best of College Photography, 2006" (sponsored by the quarterly journal Photographer's Forum).
John graciously agreed to allow use of her lion cub photograph to celebrate her spirit and to support the African Student Education Fund, established by Los Altos United Methodist Women.
The photograph, taken at Kruger National Park, South Africa, in 2005, was printed as a greeting card and presented at the Sweet Spring Sale-abration as a tribute to Sue.
All proceeds from the cards benefited the African Student Education Fund.
