Did you know that 12% of all gifts to LAUMC's Operating Fund automatically go to an Outreach cause? Our Outreach benevolence gifts and our conference giving represent our faithful commitment to others in the local and global community. Reaching out to seniors, families, and youth in need year-round, we loyally support more than 40 organizations designated by our Outreach Council, as well as Methodist missionaries.
In addition, our conference and global church ministries donations allow members of our faith to be connected in doing good deeds around the world every day, through funds such as the World Service Fund and the Africa University Fund. Giving is truly an act of faith!

In 2007 the LAUMC congregation gave $492,419 to community, national and worldwide outreach through our direct charitable giving. Our Buck-A-Month program collected nearly $59,000 for Outreach agencies and we sent nearly $10,000 in aid for disaster relief through the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) and local benevolence agencies. We celebrate this outpouring of generosity as a sign that God's love is alive in our choice to care for one another!
Direct Donations Delivery
At this time, LAUMC only accepts non-perishable food as dropoffs in the church entry area. You can help community agencies by delivering your donations directly to their location. Please call to see if they are accepting the items you wish to donate and to confirm drop-off locations. These agencies are all very grateful for your donations and efforts!
