Who's invited: All men, women and youths 14 and older are invited (the age limit has been set by the Mississippi United Methodist Conference). Membership at LAUMC is not a requirement. All skill levels are welcome — we will provide some training before we go.
What will we do? Home repairs and rehabilitation.
Where will we stay? Dormitory-style facilities that have been set up by the Mississippi Conference Disaster Response Center in North Gulfport.
What will it cost? Estimated cost is $770* including air fare, rental vans, gas, insurance and food. A $300 deposit is due with the Reservation Form. *$500 of this estimated $770 cost is the air fare. If air fares increase, the cost may be higher. The balance due will be invoiced after the purchase of airline tickets.
How do I sign up? Complete a Registration form (below) and turn it in with a $300 deposit to LAUMC. Space is limited to 30 people.
