Palm Sunday — April 17
8:00, 9:30, 11:15am and 5:00pm
During the morning worship services a traditional processional with palm branches, wonderful hymns and an inspirational message will remind us of Jesus' entry into Jerusalem. At 5:00pm Creekside Worship Band will lead worship with song, prayer and reflection. Be sure not to miss Palm Sunday worship as we begin Holy Week!
Maundy Thursday — April 21
7:30pm, Creekside Center
The traditional "Living Masterpiece" tableau depiction of Da Vinci's "The Last Supper" will be an integral part of this year's Maundy Thursday service. This family-oriented service will make the Last Supper "come alive." Jesus and his disciples will come to life and step out from the tableau to portray one of the most poignant messages of the Easter season. As the story unfolds, Jesus will bless the elements and he and the disciples will personally serve the families of the congregation individually in the service of communion. All members of the church and the community are welcome to experience together The Last Supper story.
Good Friday — April 22
7:30pm, Creekside Center
The last day of Jesus' life ended at the cross of Calvary. At this worship experience, we will share in a powerful remembrance of those last hours. There will be time for quiet reflection, music, and a chance to leave our own prayers, burdens and sorrows at the foot of the cross.
Easter Prayer Vigil
9:00pm Friday, April 22 to
4:00am Sunday, April 24
For centuries the Christian church has observed the watch from the darkness of Calvary to the first light of Easter morning through a vigil of prayer. Come, experience this blessing as we culminate Holy Week, talking to God and listening for God's message for our lives. "Could you not pray with me for just one hour?"
Easter Sunday — April 24
Sunrise Service:
6:30am, Sanctuary Garden
Hear the Easter message first from the hearts of our youth in the Sanctuary Garden! This service is planned and presented by the Starfire Singers and Lightshine Choir, under the leadership of Carol and Dirk Damonte.
