We offer you one of the most beautiful settings in the Bay Area. Our staff is experienced and sensitive to your particular needs. Our pipe organ is one of the finest available.
Our Wedding Coordinator will assist you in making a reservation. You will be asked to complete an application and make a deposit to hold the reservation. Call the church office to reach the Wedding Coordinator (650-948-1083).

We assume Christian values in marriage, but impose no tests of belief or membership of any kind. Any couple ready to make a serious commitment in love to each other is welcome to have their wedding here.
We invite you to consider having your wedding ceremony at the Los Altos United Methodist Church. Marriage is one of the most important events in your lives. We would like to make your wedding a special time of joy and commitment. We provide the following facilities for your use:
- A lovely church setting
- Beautiful Landscaping and grounds
- Dressing rooms for the bride & groom and the wedding party
- Waiting room for families
- Garden setting or chapel for small weddings
Our wedding team of ministers, organist/pianist, coordinators, soloists and custodial and audio assistants is well prepared and trained to help you achieve your desires and goals for your great day.
A $150 non-refundable deposit is required at the time your wedding is booked. It is mandatory that each couple who is married at LAUMC be involved in pre-marital counseling. If you are having your own pastor perform your wedding ceremony, we assume you will be doing counseling with him/her. We request that your pastor send us a letter acknowledging your participation in counseling sessions with them. If one of our pastors is performing your ceremony, you will need to schedule an appointment(s) with him/her for counseling.
The only optional aisle runners permitted in the church may be purchased from the Wedding Coordinator for $25. When your wedding date and time have been confirmed, the Wedding Coordinator will provide you with more detailed information about planning your wedding day.
